Udaan- Annual Sports Day

Sports inculcate something in you that no institution, family or friendship can. Sports day is a platform to showcase the talent and efforts put in by the little children to make it a successful event. Sports is not about competition, it is about having fun, learning the skill of sports and building co-ordination and motor-skills. This platform gives an opportunity to students to display their self – confidence, patience , zeal and sportsmanship.

 

Udaan- Giving wings to fly (Sports Day for Grade 1 and junior wing of GDGPS Model Town)Udaan means to fly high, reach great heights! In the pursuit of giving wings to our little Goenkans, the school organized Udaan in the school premises in January, 2018. The students of Nursery, KG and Grade 1 Participated in this grand sports event. The event started with our tiny-tots holding the torch and marching with heads held high. Then, the event proceeded with well-coordinated drills performed by our little ones. The students did great yoga asanas to the awe of the audience who couldn’t believe their eyes, for such was their perfect poses. The skaters too displayed their skills in a great skating showcase.
